Not so bad, I am excited to see how this all ends up. I cannot wait to lose these 20 lbs! I remember how good that felt so many years ago, having lost all that weight once before. It's been interesting to taste the foods. The oatmeal, good, tastes almost like the real thing. The banana pineapple drink is super sweet, almost as good. Mushroom soup, cant even tell the difference. The jello is yummy! Can tell it's denser that usual jello, but knowing it's got protein in makes me say YEAH! It also had collagen, which is supposed to help with skin collagen development to help with saggy skin.
The dinner I cooked took some getting used to. I can either cook with the limited amount of oil allowed or put it on my veggies (you eat a lot of them, 4 cups over 2 meals). I tried cooking with it. It didn't taste bad, 5-7 oz of protein, mostly your choice, unlimited spices and herbs really, but no sugar and no milk products, no butter, along with 2 cups veggies, which you MUST eat at the same time and eat all of the 2 cups. The part I didn't ask about: can I cook the veggies? Not sure, I ate them raw the 1st day. Was a little sad about that as I don't like too many veggies (allowed during stage 1), raw. A lot of options for sauces and veggies are there, but when it's on a list, somehow I needed to adjust a little.
Kind of excited, but it is only the 1st day. It wasn't hard, not too many cravings for much... continued excitement about what everything tastes like.
**Note: this entry was written on the 3rd day as these notes were written down in a journal**
